  • Life coaching is a collaborative process where a trained, professional coach, partners with clients to help them achieve personal and professional goals, navigate life transitions, and unlock their full potential. Through insightful questioning, active listening, and tailored guidance, life coaches empower clients to clarify their aspirations, overcome obstacles, and create actionable strategies for success.

  • Life coaching differs from therapy in several ways:

Focus: Therapy typically focuses on addressing and resolving past traumas, mental health issues, and emotional challenges. In contrast, life coaching primarily focuses on the present and future, helping clients set and achieve goals, improve their lives, and unlock their potential.

Approach: Therapy often involves exploring deep-rooted emotions, thought patterns, and past experiences to promote healing and personal growth. Life coaching, on the other hand, tends to be more action-oriented, with an emphasis on setting goals, developing skills, and taking proactive steps towards desired outcomes.

Duration: Therapy sessions may continue over an extended period, depending on the complexity of the issues being addressed and the client's progress. Life coaching, however, typically involves shorter-term engagements focused on achieving specific goals within a defined timeframe.

Therapy and life coaching serve different purposes and can complement each other depending on an individual's needs and goals. Therapy may be more appropriate for addressing mental health concerns and deep-seated emotional issues, while life coaching may be beneficial for individuals seeking guidance, support, and accountability in achieving specific personal or professional objectives.

  • During a coaching session, you can expect to:

Set Goals: Your coach will work with you to clarify your goals and identify what you want to achieve in your personal or professional life.

Explore Challenges: You'll have the opportunity to discuss any obstacles, concerns, or areas where you feel stuck, and your coach will help you explore potential solutions.

Gain Clarity: Through insightful questioning and active listening, your coach will help you gain clarity on your values, strengths, and priorities, enabling you to make more informed decisions.

Develop Strategies: Together, you'll develop actionable strategies and practical steps to move you closer to your goals, taking into account your unique circumstances and preferences.

Receive Support and Accountability: Jules will provide encouragement, support, and accountability to help you stay focused and motivated as you work towards your objectives.

Reflect and Learn: At the end of each session, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on your insights, lessons learned, and progress made, setting the stage for continued growth and development.

Coaching sessions are a collaborative and dynamic process designed to empower you to take control of your life, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful results.

  • Coaching is designed to guide you on your path and empower you to continue your own growth and development. We've found that programmes work best. Keeping everyone focused and motivated with a conclusion in mind. When you're ready to level up, you're always welcome to return.

  • Jules always aims to provide her absolute best and is committed to ensuring you receive a brilliant coaching experience. Part of her job is to help you value and commit to yourself with the same respect she does. A first step in this process is making your sessions a priority. As the legendary Michael Jordan once said, 'I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. I don't do things half-heartedly because I know if I do, then I can expect half-hearted results.'

We kindly encourage you to stick to your scheduled dates and times for your sessions. Punctuality and a shared commitment to bringing your energy, focus, and enthusiasm to each session are crucial for Jules' effectiveness as a coach and for your progress as a client. If, for any reason, you miss a session or arrive late, please understand that missed sessions are non-refundable. Sometimes life happens, and if together we decide that there would be a better time for you to receive coaching, we can hit pause, store your sessions, and restart when you are ready.

  • Guernsey's close-knit nature means paths may cross in daily life. Rest assured the integrity of your sessions is paramount. Adhering to ICF ethical standards, Jules ensures your coaching conversations are confidential, never to be mentioned outside your private sessions. Coaching topics stay within the coaching space. While Jules holds your trust, you're welcome to share your experiences with others as you wish.

  • The cost of coaching can vary widely based on factors such as the coach's experience, expertise, location, and the services offered. In the UK, individual coaching sessions typically range from around £90 to £300 or more per hour.

Some coaches offer package deals or discounted rates for clients committing to multiple sessions or longer-term engagements. Additionally, coaching fees may be influenced by the coach's credentials, specialisation, and the level of personalised attention and support provided.

Considering the value you'll receive from coaching in relation to the cost is crucial. While coaching involves an investment of both time and money, many clients find the insights, guidance, and positive outcomes they gain to be well worth it.

An ICF ACC-level coach, Jules brings extensive experience and ongoing development to her practice. With a successful business background spanning five years in coaching, she offers valuable expertise and insight.

Her coaching packages typically start at around £1,500. Jules understands the importance of making coaching accessible and is flexible in structuring fees, ensuring that cost is not a barrier. She can arrange fee structures for self-funding clients to spread the cost, ensuring affordability and accessibility.

Good Little Journals.

Jules, alongside the talented Illustrator and Designer Ellie Good, co-founded Good Little Journals. Their first creation, the "Sleep and Rest" journal, is just the beginning of what they hope will be a series of tools to aid in personal reflection and growth. This venture has not only earned them an award but has also opened the doors to potential publication, a journey they are excitedly navigating with the support of a literary agent.
